Aftercare Guides
Proper aftercare is crucial for achieving the best possible healed results. Please follow these instructions carefully to protect your investment.
Lip Blush Aftercare
1Day 1: The Day of Treatment
Your lips will feel swollen, tender, and the color will appear very bold and bright. This is completely normal.
- Gently blot your lips with a clean, damp cotton pad every 30-60 minutes to remove any lymphatic fluid. This prevents thick scabbing.
- Apply a thin layer of the provided healing ointment using a clean Q-tip before bed.
2Days 2-5: The Peeling Phase
Your lips will feel dry, tight, and begin to flake or peel. The color underneath may look incredibly light or completely gone (the "ghosting" phase).
- Keep your lips constantly moisturized with the provided ointment. Never let them dry out.
- DO NOT PICK, PEEL, OR RUB the flaking skin. Let it fall off naturally to avoid pulling out the pigment and causing scarring.
3Weeks 2-6: The Blooming Phase
The color will slowly begin to return and "bloom" back to the surface. It will settle into a soft, natural tint. You can resume your normal makeup routine once all flaking has stopped.
Important Rules for the First 14 Days:
- No spicy, salty, or acidic foods for 48 hours.
- Drink all liquids through a straw for the first 3 days.
- Avoid kissing or friction on the lips for 5 days.
- No excessive sweating, saunas, or swimming for 14 days.
- Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning beds.
- If prescribed antiviral medication for cold sores, take it exactly as directed.
